Bad Hipster Homeowner. Bad.
September 8, 2009 · 1 Comment
Hey, ya’ll.
I started a new job this week. It’s pretty awesome. I don’t feel like I’m going to vomit from worry, which is how I felt for approximately 5 years constantly, at my old job. I don’t know what to say except- I am so happy. I have NEVER been happy at my job. I am tired, but it’s a good tired, a “I worked hard” tired, not a “oh s—” tired.
I’ve been a bad blogger. But I will get back to it.
List to do (25 days out):
1. Take vases to new florist
2. Menu/Placecards
3. Programs (printed, but need to be cut in half)
4. Write Vows
5. Definitive music for Cocktails/Dinner/Dancing
6. Out of Town Bags
7. marriage License
8. Seating Charts (I will never finish this because my mother started inviting more people)
9. Honeymoon

Oh, an email from the guy who wants to raise the prices even though we have a contract:
Hi Anne,
I sent you an email a few days ago regarding cost. I’d give you a call but don’t have your number in my records.
Give me a call soon as you can so we can sort this out.
cheers,
Steve
Big surprise, Steve. You are so professional, I can see why you don’t even have my number on file.
I’m going to make you squirm for a few more days before I ask for my money back.
Cheers!
Anne

Identity
August 9, 2009 · 1 Comment
No, this isn’t a post on losing your identity when you get married.
Someone really stole my identity, and it’s stressing me out. There is a block on my credit (which I implemented), but in the week before this jerkface was caught, he/she/it attempted to open a credit card with every company imaginable. With my social security number and a close address to my own. So I am receiving calls from companies and mail from companies, and paperwork to fill out from companies.
Because this ahole took the time to fill out extra paperwork for fraud protection? Really? So far, he/she/it was only able to open one card, where they charged 800.00 to Bloomingdale’s, and took out about $2,000 in cash. I was told I wasn’t responsible for the payments, but I had to fill out paperwork to prove it. Where they asked me how the thief got my info. Did I lose my social security card? drivers license? Passport? Oh yeah, i did, I dropped it on the ground and didn’t feel like;
1. Reporting it
2. Picking it up.
This is just too much for me to handle. I also am being challenged by my insurance for the physical therapy I have been going to. They are “investigating” the incident, (where I pulled a muscle) and sent me a certified letter from an attorney.
Blerg.

Off the Wagon
May 12, 2009 · 2 Comments
I’m so depressed. I am totally off the wagon when it comes to diet and excercise.
I was doing so well just 2 weeks ago, but I am scared to get on the scale. My pants aren’t as loose as they once were.
I am scared that I won’t be able to fit into my wedding dress when it comes it. Terrified.
And the stress of changing jobs and the end of the school year isn’t helping. And having our floors refinished isn’t helping either, because we had to eat everything to clean out the refrigerator.
Here’s the new workout schedule:
Monday: 30 Day Shred
Tuesday: Class, no workout
Wednesday: Work out with Chrissy, my fantastic trainer
Thursday: Run at the gym
Friday: 30 Day Shred
Diet: 1500 Calories a day.
Goal: Lose 5 lbs to look good for Beck’s wedding, May 24 (2 weeks away!)

Cabo Prep
February 23, 2009 · 5 Comments
6 days people. I need to lose 3.5-5 lbs before we leave in 6 days.
Here is my emergency diet plan:
7am Breakfast: Special K Waffle with Peanut Butter 200 calories
Coffee with sugar-free creamer 25 calories

10am Snack: Light Yogurt 70 calories
12pm Lunch: Soup at Hand Chicken and Stars 70 calories

3pm Snack: Almonds and Cranberries trail mix 200 calories
6pm Dinner: Lean Cuisine Entree 350 calories
8pm Dessert: Ice cream sandwich 150 calories
Total 1065 calories
Do you think I can do it? It’s only 6 days.
I think the hardest part will be the evening. I always want a glass of wine in the pm.
